Can I sell a house I purchased without the signature of a person who is now a fugitive?

I bought a house with my ex-husband in Maryland He got in trouble with the police for drugs possession and DUI charges. A few weeks ago and he got pulled over by the police and he run away from them. Now he is a fugitive. The title of the house is under both names. I can't afford the mortgage payment and I want to sell the house so my Realtor created a power of attorney but he won't be able to sign it because nobody knows where he is. Is there a way I can sell the house without his signature. If I won't sell the house my created will get ruined. How many year will it take to improve my credit?
